Hello there. My name is Jake but people call me "Jake The Snake" and sometimes "Jake from State Farm." I'm 15 years old about to turn 16 in May. I LOVE to watch and play basketball with friends and family. I'm a friendly dude if you're friendly to me if not then I could be a problem.Anyways the thing I like about in English was the group project. It was my favorite because we had to work, discuss and had fun as a group, and I hope we have a better and fun group project next time!
HENRIK IBSEN
Henrik Ibsen was born on March 20,1828 in Skien, Norway. As a child, Henrik grew up in a small town in Skien and was the oldest of his siblings. His father Knud Ibsen was a successful merchant and Henrik's mother (Marichen) all she did was painting, playing piano and going to theaters. At age 8, Henrik and his family had to move to a farm near town due to the problems with his father business. With the new home that Henrik move to, he spent much of his time reading, painting and doing magic tricks.
At age 15, Ibsen drop out of school and began to work. Ibsen work as an apprentice in an apothecary in Grimstad where he used his free time to write poetry and paint. He wrote his first play in 1849 called "Catilina" which was a drama written in verse modeled after William Shakespeare one of his greatest influence. In 1862, he was exiled to Italy, where he wrote the tragedy Brand. In 1868, Ibsen moved to Germany, where he wrote one of his most famous works the play "A Doll's House." By 1891, Ibsen had returned to Norway a hero. He died on May 23, 1906, in Oslo, Norway.
Comparing between "A Doll's House" and Henrik Ibsen's researches, I personally think the play mostly about situations in a house with a family that needed to be solve. That what i believe is mostly about but i could be wrong. Guess I have to wait until I read "A Doll"s house" to find out. :/
