(The sound of a door shutting is heard from below.)
(As Nora was walking down the street she notice Dr. Rank in a car readying to leave.)
Nora : (yelling) Dr. Rank! Dr. Rank!
Rank: (stop his car) Nora! Good heaven, what are you doing out here?
Nora: I'll explain but do you happen to know where Mrs. Linde live?
Rank: Certainly!
Nora: Must you take me there ?
Rank: Anything for you Nora.
(Nora got into his car and drove off. As they were driving to Mrs. Linde"s house, Nora explain to Dr.Rank about everything that had happen between her, Krogstad and Torvald. She told him about the forge signature, how she was getting blackmailed by Krogstad, how Torvald act when he found out, how he act different when Krogstad change his mind, and why she left him. They finally arrive to Mrs. Linde's house.)
Rank : (softly) Well, I hope everything goes well with your new life.
Nora: (quietly) I hope so too.
(As she was about to leave, she suddenly paused)
Rank: Is everything okay Nora?
Nora: May I say something to you before I go?
Rank: Of course. What is it?
Nora : Rank. You're that one man I wish I had before in my life. A man that cares about me,a man that listen to me, a man who would help me, a man that would love me. At first I was shock when you confess your love to me but now I realized , that I'm proud of you. Torvald didn't care about me, all he cared about was my beauty and his appearance unlike you.. your different. I'm grateful that you come by to the house daily, I don't mind at all. Although you might be a Torvald"s closest friend but you're my best friend and I thank you for that. I'm truly sad that you be gone very soon and when that time comes, I won't forget about you and I would deeply miss you and I'm confident that you do too. This might of be the last time I see you so I want to make sure you know what I have to say to you. (Kissed him on the cheek) Goodbye Dr. Rank (softly) and I love you.
(Nora got out of the car, started tearing and walked toward Mrs Linde's house)
Rank:(whisper) I love you too..(He drove off and was never seen again)
(Few days later Dr. Rank passed away. No one show up to Dr. Rank's funeral expect for.. Nora.)

Act II
In Act two, there were many scenes that surprise and concern to me. It was pretty mess up that Nora was "flirting" with Dr.Rank just so she can make him give the money that she needed for Krogstad. I feel bad for Dr. Ranks since he told Nora that he had feelings for her and she just suddenly shuts down and refuses to ask her favor. The right thing that Nora did was that she didn't take advantage of Dr. Rank by using him for money since he love her. I was disgust that Nora only flirt with him just for the money.
"Good gracious you are being absurd- Now be nice Dr. Rank and tomorrow you'll see how beautifully I shall dance and you can tell yourself that it's all for you - and for Torvald too of course." (Ibsen 193)
In the scene where Krogstad had enough with this and put the letter in Torvald's letterbox about the forge signature and how Krogstad will ruin the Helmer's family, I felt bad for Nora, crying and knowing that her life would be a mess if her husband read the letter. Luckily that Mrs. Linde came in and agree to help her out by talking to Krogstad about this situation he put Nora into. Nora taking this too serious, thinking and might just end her life before her husband Torvald read the letter.
"Seven hours till midnight, then twenty-four hours till midnight tomorrow, then the tarantella will be over. Twenty-four and seven... thirty-one hours to live."(Ibsen 206) Hope Nora knows what she doing, it could be a mistake. Let just see what happen in the final act. :3

Act I
Act one was interesting to read about, learning and reading about each characters in the act especially the character name Nora Helmer. Nora exhibits many childish qualities, she eats a few desserts which she has secretly purchased and as when her husband (Torvald Helmer) ask if she been sneaking macaroons, she denied it. Right now I consider Nora as a liar for lying to her husband. "Helmer -Don't disturb me. Bought, did you say? All these things? Has my little spendthrift been wasting money again?" "Nora - Yes, but Torvald, this year we really can let ourselves go a little. This is the first Christmas that we have not needed to economise."
Since then, I kept consider her as a liar until Krogstad threatens to reveal the truth about her forgery. She forge a signature and confident enough to pay back all her debts even in the face of enormous difficulties. Nora been helping and nursing her husband through illness but she still did a horrible thing that will affect her and Torvald's reputation. It would be jail time if anyone finds out about it and it would be very terrible for both of them. Nora is in big trouble, let see what happen next . :x

Me and Henrik Ibsen
Hello there. My name is Jake but people call me "Jake The Snake" and sometimes "Jake from State Farm." I'm 15 years old about to turn 16 in May. I LOVE to watch and play basketball with friends and family. I'm a friendly dude if you're friendly to me if not then I could be a problem.Anyways the thing I like about in English was the group project. It was my favorite because we had to work, discuss and had fun as a group, and I hope we have a better and fun group project next time!
HENRIK IBSEN
Henrik Ibsen was born on March 20,1828 in Skien, Norway. As a child, Henrik grew up in a small town in Skien and was the oldest of his siblings. His father Knud Ibsen was a successful merchant and Henrik's mother (Marichen) all she did was painting, playing piano and going to theaters. At age 8, Henrik and his family had to move to a farm near town due to the problems with his father business. With the new home that Henrik move to, he spent much of his time reading, painting and doing magic tricks.
At age 15, Ibsen drop out of school and began to work. Ibsen work as an apprentice in an apothecary in Grimstad where he used his free time to write poetry and paint. He wrote his first play in 1849 called "Catilina" which was a drama written in verse modeled after William Shakespeare one of his greatest influence. In 1862, he was exiled to Italy, where he wrote the tragedy Brand. In 1868, Ibsen moved to Germany, where he wrote one of his most famous works the play "A Doll's House." By 1891, Ibsen had returned to Norway a hero. He died on May 23, 1906, in Oslo, Norway.
Comparing between "A Doll's House" and Henrik Ibsen's researches, I personally think the play mostly about situations in a house with a family that needed to be solve. That what i believe is mostly about but i could be wrong. Guess I have to wait until I read "A Doll"s house" to find out. :/
